On the Gastro Stage, you will hear brilliant and inspiring speeches on the industry’s most current topics – business development, sustainability, responsibility, and future trends.

In the Culinary Team of Finland’s restaurant kitchen area, you can watch top chefs at work and enjoy the culinary experiences of the competition menu.

In the Master School competition, hospitality management students compete as the future professionals of the field, and in the Wine, Beer & Spirit area’s tastings and workshops, you can experience novelties and find new favorites.

The event is crowned by the announcement of the Finland’s 50 Best Restaurants list, which highlights the country’s most inspiring dining spots and creators.

Gastro Helsinki March 11–12, 2026 – The leading event for the HoReCa industry

Gastro Helsinki showcases the latest industry developments, trends, and innovations, offering information, experiences, and inspiration.

Welcome to the Gastro Helsinki 2026 event!

Gastro Helsinki 2026 is Finland’s largest and most significant professional event for the food and beverage industry, bringing together the sector’s most important companies, brands, experts, and decision-makers under one roof. For two days, the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre will be filled with encounters, discussions, and insights that define the future of the industry.

The program is built around three themes: Learn. Think. Discover.

On the Gastro Stage, you will hear inspiring speeches on business development, sustainability, workforce recruitment, as well as industry trends and future prospects.

The Avecmedia Stage offers the most useful breathing spaces of the exhibition day – discussions and speeches on career development, business growth, and reaching new customers.

A highlight of Wednesday’s program is the Gastro Talk decision-maker panel, organized in collaboration with MaRa ry, where industry influencers discuss the future of the sector. The Pizzamestari and Master School (Mestarikoulu) competitions by Food Camp Finland will bring masters of pizza culture and young top talents to the stage.

In the Culinary Team of Finland’s pop-up restaurant, visitors can taste the national team’s top dishes and watch the masters at work in the demonstration kitchen.

Participatory cooking workshops and beverage tastings offer the opportunity to learn and be inspired together. Thursday’s Future Talents (Tulevaisuuden tekijät) event and pop-up recruitment bring together students and employers – this is where future career paths are built.

The event concludes with a keynote by Swedish top chef Sofia B Olsson, who challenges us to consider sustainability and the future of food culture from a new perspective. Additionally, the long-awaited list of Finland’s 50 Best Restaurants, which inspires the entire industry, will be announced at Gastro Helsinki.

Marketing communications for the event have begun across Gastro Helsinki’s own media channels, including the website, social media, and newsletters. The multi-channel utilization of media space will continue actively until the event.

Advertising, articles, website highlights, and linking will be carried out through partner channels in accordance with agreements. Paid advertising will be executed as a two-part campaign: the first part at the end of the year will spark interest in the event and boost sales, while the second part in early 2026 will highlight registration and direct visitors to sign up for the event!

Marketing communications will highlight, among other things:

  • Gastro Helsinki as Finland’s largest and most significant meeting place for hotel, restaurant, food, and beverage professionals.
  • Inspiring speeches from leading visionaries aligned with Gastro Helsinki’s themes, offering insights into future opportunities.
